Understanding the consumer psyche and the irrationality of the human decision-making process is key to developing winning value propositions or product features to test in the market. Understanding why the consumer cares for the brand as well as their underlying mindsets, moods, motivation, desires, aspirations, and motivations that trigger their attitude and actions are things that all marketers should not only understand but internalize. Recently there has been an interest in systematizing behavioral thinking and using the discipline more conspicuously to shed insight on the challenges advertisers face. In this session, we’ll explore the latest and greatest in this area of research.
