SVP, Creative Director / Experience Design (@maxspire)

With 20 award-winning years in the digital space as a creaBve director working with brands such as Sony, Bank of America, Samsung, adidas, Samsonite, Coca-Cola, and Dunkin' Donuts, Max brings a wealth of insights and rare expertise to the agency world.

His passion for telling stories through innovative and engaging experiences has made him a standard-bearer for "Convergence"; his passion for coding art and eschewing unnecessary documentation has made him a champion of agile processes and methodologies. As such, he prides himself on disrupting traditional agency models and has focused on the art of building and enabling teams of polymath makers and hackers that use the entire digital spectrum of channels as a framework for narration, on behalf of the biggest brands on the planet.

Before joining Digitas as the head of Experience Design for Boston & Detroit in April of 2015, Max had most recently enjoyed a two-year hiatus from the agency world, spending his Bme as a new father, a mentor at TechStars Boston, and the CMO of the Startup Institute, an immersive learning program designed to help people begin new careers working athigh-growth companies.

Prior to that, his most recent agency sBnt was as the ExecuBve CreaBve Director of Isobar, where he worked alongside an incredibly talented team to build the agency's North American presence from a handful of acquired shops into a cohesive powerhouse that spanned the coasts and birthed breakthrough experiences for brands like adidas, Royal Caribbean and Comedy Central.

When he's not busy invenBng new uses for pixels and data, Max spends his time loving his wife and daughter, reading nerdy science magazines and books, and trying not to kill himself while he learns how to use power tools.
