Perry Witmer is Senior Manager, Innovation & Emerging Brands at PepsiCo, where she leads the Strategy & Insights team responsible for developing the next generation of billion-dollar brands through breakthrough innovation & intrapreneurial brand-building. Perry is also a Trends expert: she's developed a custom framework designed to empower leadership across categories and brands to capitalize on forward-looking consumer trends.
Prior to joining PepsiCo in early 2013, Perry was Director of Brand Strategy at Penn Schoen Berland, where she worked as a strategic advisor for clients such as Reckitt Benckiser, Celebrity Cruises, American Express & Elizabeth Arden. Perry's extensive experience ranges from brand architecture and competitive positioning to identifying and leveraging consumer insights, including specific input into brand innovation and new product development.
Perry came to PSB after working as a Senior Brand Strategist at Distillery, where she was a strategic consultant for clients such as GlaxoSmithKline, Pernod Ricard, and LG Electronics, advising across industries on wide-ranging business issues throughout their marketing lifecycle. She also held several positions on the American Express team at Ogilvy & Mather NY, where she began her career. Perry received an A.B. in Political Science from Harvard University.
